Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 (2023)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

I'm hearing that it is, indeed, "the best Marvel movie since Endgame", but that comes with a caveat. It's very good, not on par with Endgame, but very good.

Also, it's not woke.

It's the best MCU movie since Endgame.

This is a darker movie. I think my only real problem with it is that they don't let the dark scenes be dark... they ruin the tone by continuously adding snarky quips into moments that would be better served just letting them breathe.

It keeps going back and forth, dark/light/dark/light. Just let people be sad for a minute, movie makers, even if it's just a silly superhero movie.

FYI, it hasn't been announced, but James Gunn basically gave away that "Legendary Star Lord" will probably happen. He said he and Pratt always thought a good film would be Star Lord returning to Earth, ala Star Trek IV. A fish out of water story. We'll see.

Yep.

Fun and touching.
