Guest House (2020)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Guest House (2020)

Post by Leisher »

Paulie Shore, looking old and depressed (seriously, he should talk to someone), lives in the guest house of a home bought by a young couple in love. He refuses to leave and a war begins between the two.

This is a comedy that hits the normal beats. You could sit down and write what you think is the plot and probably be 80% correct. It's not full of laughs, but is just entertaining enough to not make you shut it off.

There is also lots of T&A (one who legit made me pause and reward to take another look), but also includes Bobby Lee which is disturbing.

Also, the female lead is hot. She's got a good body, although maybe a bit too thin? She carries herself really well and has intense, smoky eyes. However, at certain angles in this film I wondered if she wasn't hot. Here's a picture. In that picture she's like the hot, yet much less hot, sister of Michelle Mylett.

The male lead, Mike Castle, isn't likeable and that sort of kills the film. Not sure whether to blame him or the writers.

Steve O is here being Steve O, and Billy Zane is here slumming it. There's no greater shame than the career of Billy Zane. Dude has more acting talent than most big name actors could ever dream of, and yet he's crazy underexposed.

Back to the film, meh.
