Mr. & Mrs. Claus go on a killing spree in a small town.
Ok, it's not the "real" Santa and his wife, but they are dressed the part and doing some very Christmas themed killing. Their real motivation isn't revealed until Act 3, and it's pretty weak. Hint: It's just mental insanity combined with a link to the town/specific people.
Where this film fails is in the law enforcement, and it's really weird because it strongly embraces the cops/FBI. Nobody can start a massive, we're talking HUGE body count, killing spree during the holidays, including killing multiple FBI agents and cops without the town being overrun by every level of law enforcement and even the National Guard. Everything about how the law enforcement is handled is wrong. Including a room of cops murdered at their desks with an axe, all within view of one another, yet not a single sound is made. (It was a really cool attempt at a great movie moment, but it ultimately fails when your audience is too busy thinking, "This is, literally, impossible".)
Despite a lot of stupidity, I still enjoyed the film. You've got to expect a lot of stupid from indy horror, and it's here in spades. So if you can get past that, and just enjoy the killing, it's a respectable attempt.
Still, most people should avoid it.
