As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

It's intention and context.

Fair point, but there's a huge difference between killing an enemy combatant in duty to country versus killing some random innocent for a payday.
So the random innocents/bystanders who are killed don't count? Life's only sacred when not at war?
They absolutely count and those deaths should be avoided as much as possible. However, do we not stop the Nazis just because some civilians will inevitably die? Ask Bill Clinton how that worked out for him. I'm guessing the 3,000 Americans in the Twin Towers wish he hadn't stopped a tactical strike on bin Laden just because there was a swing set nearby.

Only one scene was too much for Amazon to allow from Season 1.

If you don't want to click, it was Homelander jerking off over the city after Stillwell gave him a talking to.

I'm not sure if I'll watch S2. S1 wasn't much fun.

I think it's been great. It's not supposed to be a comedy.

I feel like it should be a little more comedic give then people, the characters, the setup, etc. But either way I still like it. S2: Mid-2020

I was telling my wife about this cool show I was watching on Amazon. We never watch any superhero stuff, so it was a tough road to climb: "No, its not like all those other super hero medias".

Then she happened to be around when I started episode... 3? 4? The one that made it seem like it was Dexter. She noped out and didn't give it another chance. Ah well.

Ha!

My wife just tapped out at the face sitting. Thing is, she loved the show, but couldn't get around the gore.

Oh, and when ___________ was basically breastfeeding. That creeped her out.

Season 2 will come with a short film featuring Billy Butcher to fill in some of where he's been.

Also, it's going to have Friday releases, after the first 4 episodes, or something weird like that.

Does that spoil the first 3 episodes at all?

Don't know. I'm not going to watch it until later. It happens prior to S2, so no?

Sort of does. Also, it doesn't really tell you anything. Plays like a deleted scene.

Season 2 has been great. It's the only super hero related media I can tolerate :)
