I bought this game on a whim yesterday and ended up playing it for 6 hours!

Soccer with cars?? doesn't sound like it would work, but it does.

Games can be played 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4. Most common looks like 3v3 which seems perfect to me. Very fast and nonstop action for 5 minutes.

Pretty decent car customization, but all the cars handle and drive exactly the same. I'd like to see different cars play different rolls but this is a minor gripe.

You can play a season mode against AI but I didn't even try that, I jumped right into the PvP action. At first I was doing really well scoring sometimes 3-4 goals a game. Then I started getting matched against much better players and the games got super competitive. You can pull off some ridiculous shots, saves and aerial maneuvers. Teamwork is a must, if everyone on your team just chases the ball all over the place you're sure to lose. You need to keep spacing and be able to get back to defend the goal when needed. Simple to play but tough to master, good players can pull off some serious shit.

There is also a ranked mode that I didn't get into yet, but I can imagine having a team of 3 on voice would be a blast. Different from any game I've ever played. I seriously recommend this game.

I keep hearing the GnR song... "So here I am.... your rocket league..."

I can't express enough how fun this game has been. There is some serious skill involved in trying to pull off these aerial shots.

</object></span>

Just buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Hey TPR, I noticed you playing this a little bit lately, just curious what you think of it. I found it really addictive and competitive, sometimes literally jumping out of my chair trying to knock a ball in or block a goal.

It only gets better when you learn to take to the skies, I've only scratched the surface of that because I find it really hard to pull off. I think this game could be really fun with a group of 3. To me the 3v3 is the perfect game size.

The group I play with has taken up this game as the default go to when there's three to six of us on at night. I like it a lot. A couple of the guys are really good at those arial shots but not I. Of course I play it balls out like I do anything resembling a racing game, so my stats aren't the greatest. Most of what I do is a miss, but sometimes I pull off something amazing.

The one thing I'm consistently good at is if I'm going in for the kickoff I always get first touch every time. This is not particularly useful.

X-platform play so you can beat the shit out of those console jockeys.

I've been kicking PS4 ass on my PC in this game for months. I'll be happy to do the same to XBoners.

Fun new game mode coming out soon. This game continues to be fun as hell to play and is really underrated, hockey mode, basketball mode and now this keep you coming back for more. Also, the ranked play mode has come along quite well.
