Firefly MMORPG
I have yet to see the series or the movie, although I am excited to do so and might do it before the end of this month, however, I'm pretty sure making a MMO based on such a small fanbase is a bad idea.

Are you coming on to me?
That actually sounds like a plan, but when? This holiday season will, I'm sure, be filled with family stuff. Although, I do have the week between X-Mas and New Year's off...
You are, in the interim, dead to me.
As much hype as this show gets, it had better be the mental equivilent of getting a blow job while eating a steak while watching the National Championship game while playing Half-Life 3.

I know there are lots of plans between now and XMas, but I can't think of a single thing I have planned between XMas and New Year. Name a day and I'll check with my secretary.Leisher wrote:Are you coming on to me?You can always come over and watch it on the big screen, marathon-style.

Also, keep in mind there are 13 episodes of Firefly.

Well of course you won't be watching. Your head will be focused elsewhere.
By the way, my secretary doesn't seem to think there will be a problem if we get together to watch the show one of those days, so I'm going to say Wednesday the 27th.

Ok. What time do you have in mind? And the baby goes to bed 9ish.
You pick the time. 13 episodes translates to roughly 8.7 hours of viewing goodness. That's assuming each 60 minute episode is really 40 minutes without commercials.
That doesn't include the time for the Firefly movie.
But then maybe I can arrange a sitter. Babies are annoying and have no courtesy when it comes to allowing others to watch Firefly.
A sitter might be best, particularly since you have one 100 yards away.
I've had many viewing experiences ruined by a selfish baby who can't grasp the concept of only crying during commercials.
