Actually a woman would have started having doubts about hiring the right person but rather than do anything about it she'll telephone unqualified friends who she feels will have the same opinion as her which will only result in hideous behavior, such as stopping to ask for directions on the way to a shoe store.

I bombed them yet again this last Thursday night, and since then I have seez ZERO traffic in and out of the hive. There's no reason they'd pick a new way to get in and out, as I didn't attack the entrance.

I may have finally gotten them all.

On a different front, a few weeks ago I noticed wasps moving in and out of a crack near my roof. I sprayed them down and didn't notice anything for a few days. Upon my return from Disney, I noticed activity again. More spray. I think I'll be in my attic this winter removing a nest. If it's worthy, I'll post pictures.

So you probably killed the queen, so the second wave had no backups.

You still plan on cutting it out this winter?

Honestly, even though everything I read says they abandon the nests and start anew in the spring, I'd still be freaked out crawling under there to cut it out.

The entrance to my crawl space is level to the ground, so if I fly out head first I'm fine. But if you need to get out fast you're going to run into some trouble.

I'm the belt and suspenders type, so if I were going in there to cut it out the first step would be fencing it in securely with something they can't fly through. Then reach in and do the initial cuts with the screen in place. Just in case.

Heh, there was probably a new queen born and half the hive left with her. They still have a bad bee problem inside their house.
