My problems with the mother are about her statements afterwards. The whole "thank God nothing bad happened" attitude of hers is either incredibly ignorant or absurdly self-centered and viciously heartless. These people who work as specialists at zoos, many of them feel towards these animals they spend decades caring for much the same as she does towards her child, and they had to execute one because of this. That's not "no harm done".

In her letter, Rasmussen blamed campus drinking culture and political correctness for Turner's inebriated life choices.

What this girl did, and I stress "girl", is nothing more than the ignorance of youth. She's young and hot and can't picture herself in that woman's shoes. She has no idea about the future and how a lot of people (women and men) can't find time to workout or eat healthy because they're too focused on their career or their families. That doesn't even take into account genetics and luck of the draw.
Instead of mocking that poor woman, she should have shown her respect. She might be out of shape, but she's there working out. She's trying.

I go to an LAF. There are signs in every locker room that say "DON'T TAKE FUCKING PICTURES." You have to be blind to miss them.
