I guess Tesla's finally getting hit with the chip shortage?

Tesla S just went from an estimated Sep-Oct delivery to March-April. I was planning to test drive it this Fall, but I guess not.

Oh, and the price went up another $5k to $89k now.

What exactly was the point of that?

As for the robots themselves, I hope someone is checking to make sure Sarah Connor is safe.

Right? Musk thought it was a good idea, so they did it. The end.

He would catapult himself to American hero status overnight.

Charging really is painful still, according to my electric-owning friends.

I have two cars, one for local commuting, one for long trips. I've never a single time planned a trip with a charge in the middle, and it's been painless.

To be fair, they are becoming more similar daily.

I'd have to watch and study it more to see if it really is visual. How would it see the second car to its right? I was wondering if there was radar/sonar involved. Visual would make more sense...maybe? Is it watching everything and then predicting movement and positioning?

After watching this I believe we are closer to everyone having automated cars than I did previously.

Tesla uses radar + cameras (vision) but is migrating towards vision only.

I would prefer to have as many systems as possible.
