Kinda entertaining reddit thread
My favorite was "Deaf people, have you ever used something with audio and didn't realize there was sound until halfway through, cough cough likeporno cough"

Only one quote there and it doesn't really fit what I think they're going for.
Taydolf Swiftler is from the Hollywood Babble-On podcast, and I'm pretty sure was created by Ralph Garmin (or stolen by). He hates her for some reason, but has had to eat crow a few times during their "Hollywood Helpers" segment where she's been featured going out of her way for folks (like dying kids).

“Every record been destroyed or falsified, books rewritten, pictures repainted, statues, street building renamed, every date altered. The process is continuing day by day. History stops. Nothing exists except endless present in which the Party is right.”

I was in the top 1% of karma earners this year.
Don't be jealous because I spend all day on the internet scoring with hot babes making funny comments on reddit.

Reddit moderators have an agenda, and it doesn't involve unapproved opinions.

The other day someone pointed out that 75 of the top 100 subreddits were run by the same 4 people.
I wondered if those 4 (accounts) were chinese and being run by a crew. Tencent bought a big chunk of reddit a few years ago.

This. One of the comments on the Twitter feed where I got that image said this very thing or something extremely similarly. That led to me post the image here.
Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, etc. need to have standards for moderators to follow or we just create echo chambers, and nobody wins in those scenarios. And yes, I realize how reddit is setup differently, but that still doesn't mean you allow small minded bigots to have full control of an area of your site or it makes it seem like you endorse their message. That screenshot alone should be enough for reddit to go in, investigate, and remove that person's ability to be a moderator. It's a clear abuse of power.
Who watches the watchmen?

My prediction is: no change. The 3rd party stuff only affects a minority of users. Many won't notice who are just reading their main page feed, many who do notice won't care much.
Reddit will have higher numbers across the board in a week.

I had honestly never heard of any of those apps.
Are these similar to the ones Twitter recently did the same thing to? My impression of them was as follows:
Company A (Twitter, Reddit, etc.) creates a product. Company B (Third party apps) creates an app to pull and interact with data from that product while bypassing Company A's actual product. This means taking traffic from Company A's product and avoiding other things, like perhaps content moderation.
I have no idea if that is right or not?

That was my guess, but I never cared enough to do the research.
I assumed reddit ad revenue would increase once 3rd party clients were cut off, thus my prediction above.

Posted with the best comment. (And the best comment under that is "images you can smell".)
