ESPN + 538 love Houston over Nova. Seems a little weird to me, but I have Houston in our work pool, and really need them to win.

SHOCKER Memphis facing NCAA violations for basketball
Memphis is reportedly facing four Level I and two Level II NCAA violations stemming from an 18-month-long investigation into the Tigers' program.

The Daily Memphian obtained the Notice of Allegations and an amended Notice of Allegations from the Independent Accountability Resolution Process (IARP) investigation. An infractions case involving former Memphis center James Wiseman was the first case accepted by the IARP in the spring of 2020.

Memphis head coach Penny Hardaway is the only person named in the notice of allegations, according to the report. It says Hardaway was involved in at least one of the Level I violations and the two Level II violations. The NCAA alleges Hardaway "failed to demonstrate that he promoted an atmosphere of compliance within the men's basketball program."

Least shocking news ever.

This has been speculated by pretty much all observers ever since Penny got there.

Peacocks cost Jersey sportsbooks win or lose.

Someone will bribe a politician to ensure this never happens again.

Half the remaining teams are ACC teams right now, versus the 0 expected, out of 6

Ratings people better remember this next year :)

They'll take into account how the entire thing is rigged.

My daughter had a swim meet on UNC's campus today. My oldest + I walked campus, I showed her the dorms, buildings, etc. We walked by the football stadium, and there were 5 big people with FANCY cars out back of it. I'm 99.9% certain one of them was Sam Howell. He was tossing a football up in the air to himself. (3 of the guys were in cars, so I didn't see them well).

Turns out tomorrow morning is UNC's pro day for football.

Go Heels!

Can you tell someone at the university that we really want a game and not a rout?

Also, OSU won another national championship this week:

I love routs. I love them. As long as it's my team winning.

I went to this football game with the family, and didn't want to leave early: https://www.espn.com/college-football/g ... /400756975

The tournament is clearly rigged. I'm pissed I didn't plan my bracket with the thought of "No way does the NCAA let Coach K go out without UNC-Duke on a national stage".

BTW, UNC looked really, really good tonight. Meanwhile, Kansas dominated despite shooting terribly down the stretch.

We've had some really good moment this tournament, enough to make up for some up + down in the year, as far as I'm concerned, this year was a massive success already just based on this Final Four run, when most people had us out the first game.

Right? Throw in Kentucky + UCLA for two more "blue bloods" in basketball. Gonzaga, a #1 seed in recent years, also blue. Nova: blue.

Baylor? Not blue. Lost to a #8 seed.

St Peter's' coach cashes in joins Seton Hall.
Holloway is one of the best players in Seton Hall history, setting the program record for career assists and leading the Pirates to the 2000 Sweet 16. From Queens, he was named to the All-Big East team three times. Holloway also won McDonald's All-American Game MVP honors in 1996 as a high school player

Wild meeting our ancient enemy here, in the final four, of all places. Fuck Duke. Let's crash this retirement party.

Go Heels.

Incredible game, possibly better than the Tyler Hansborough bloody lip game my Senior year.

People who don't get this game.

Imagine you had a giant, public university filled with the smartest and hottest (60% women) people in NC

And then just across 15/501, you have Duke, a private school, a bunch of fucking entitled Yankees from out of town.

And that situation has existed since 1920.

Fuck Duke.
