I have been too busy to sit down and invent a custom recipe, and I need to get another batch in the bucket, so I just bought another kit. I will be customizing it, as is my wont.

Brewing within the next week. Temps are cooling off outside, so I will be able to keep the house from getting too hot during the boil.

Brewed yesterday.

Bubbling today.

I love fermenting things.

Happy bottling day.

Lightest-colored beer I have ever made, I think, beating the "American Light" I made.

And like the American Light, this one had no grains... just rice and malt/malt extract.

My next one is going to be darker, I think. I think my Christmas Present Batch is going to be something really damned dark.

I made another batch of this in November and have just started drinking it in earnest.

Maybe it is because I have been drinking dark beers since July 2012 and am tired of them, but GODDAM this batch turned out good. Totally Buzz Lightyear right at this exact moment.
