*ahem*
Hah! I have Netflix now, who needs Youtube TV? :P

Is there any particular show you are missing?

Honestly, when I travel, I mostly just work, and do a little surfing. I watched a grand total of 0 minutes of video anything on this trip. Oh, I did read part of a book.

Nothing in particular, but my regular TV setup at my desk involves remote controls, which are never near where I sit. I got accustomed to having the TV in a browser on my second monitor, controlled by the mouse already in my hand.

The remote control is 6 feet away.... exhausting. 1st world problems.

What I meant to say is that I'm making a list of people I love. (we only fly bidness class or higher, btw)

I don't have that much status, but there's always a chance.

It's a fund in Boston, I would work remote, traveling ~3 days per month to Boston. (direct flight from RDU)

Title: Whatever I want. I asked for Director, they said yes.
Salary: Same as what I make now, which I think is pretty solid, but it's hard to tell in this techmarket.
Bonus: 25% target (versus 15%) - This is 'operational' bonus, which means tied to my performance, not that of the fund.
Fund bonus - Up to 1x my salary, depends on fund performance. The past 2 years, this has paid out at 50% of salary.
Profit sharing: They've maxxed out everyone's 401ks with profit sharing the past two years.

Additionally, after 6 months, I _might_ be able to invest in the fund itself. Not guaranteed. Might also be too many eggs in one basket.
Offer accepted! Director of Software Engineering!

(my brother said I should ask for VP since I would be leading the entire 'department')

They said I could make it up :) I'm a Senior Manager now, so Director seemed like a nice, one step up.

Aren't you a Director?

When given permission to choose your own title, ALWAYS go with "Master of Ceremonies."

Yeah, but Software Engineering to me sounds sexier than my title. "Forensics and Litigation Consulting" doesn't have that ring to it.

Can you handle a team of super talented people who basically do all the work for you?

Seriously, if you are interested, let me know we can do lunch or something.

Any other day works.
