Tails

Learned about this last night. Basically an OS you can run off a flash drive that disappears everything you did when you remove it from whatever PC you were working on.

Interesting.

Not sure what the practical...*ahem* non-criminal...application would be unless your spouse is REALLY against you surfing porn.

Would be good for public PC use if your laptop goes down, or you don't have one.

I mean, everyone that needs portable working conditions will have a laptop. But I guess, a visitor to your facility? You don't have to give his device access to your network. "Here. Use this PC and when you are done, all records of you being there will be gone."

All of my examples are computing on the go/visitors.

I am definitely going to build a couple when I get back to the office next week. I want to see how it works, and it might be a nice "emergency use" tool.
