From what I've seen, Kroger is famous for unionizing their workforce.

I return, they're the most expensive of my closest 4 grocery stores, they have more "self serve" lines than cashiers, and... I can't think of a point #3.

But the one near me has a wine bar so you can sip a wine while grocery storing, except every time I am there there is no one serving wine. So.

How odd.

We have beer bars in some grocery stores here, which also strikes me as odd.
It's not me, it's someone else.

My impression is that they were aiming at the avacado eaters, who think themselves fancy.

I have seen some big ol' snobs who only drink IPAs so bitter, it's almost like they don't like the taste of beer.

It's like they hate themselves.
