We became a statistic.

Flight out from RDU to ATL got delayed by 3 hours due to engine issues (and some other issues). Ended up missing our flight to Paris, rebooked the next day, arrive 20 hours later than planned.

Flight home from ATL to RDU got delayed 6 hours (after waking up at 2am ET to start our day home in London). More engine issues, plane broken.

Ugh. I've filed complaints, we'll see. I also just hit Platinum status, so we'll see if that helps.
It's not me, it's someone else.

So many articles lately about how airlines aren't being run properly. Apparently you'll be lucky to get all your luggage.
