Portlandprotester who shot + killed conservative protester killed by law enforcement.Law enforcement agents shot and killed an antifa supporter on Thursday as they moved to arrest him in the fatal shooting of a right-wing activist who was part of a pro-Trump caravan in Portland, Ore., officials said.
The suspect, Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, was shot by officers from a federally led fugitive task force during the encounter in Washington State, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
“Initial reports indicate the suspect produced a firearm, threatening the lives of law enforcement officers,” the Marshals Service said in a statement. “Task force members responded to the threat and struck the suspect who was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Rochester command staff retire in unison. Without warning.
After days of protests against the Rochester Police Department in light of the death of Daniel Prude, its top officer and his deputy announced Tuesday they are retiring from the force. Along with the police chief, the city's entire command staff announced it will vacate their roles.
Rochester Police Chief La'Ron Singletary said in a statement that he was honored to serve the city in upstate New York for 20 years and commended his staff. However, he said the protests and criticism of his handling of the investigation into the March 23 incident "are an attempt to destroy my character and integrity."

"As a man of integrity, I will not sit idly by while outside entities attempt to destroy my character," he said in a statement. "The members of the Rochester Police Department and the Greater Rochester Community know my reputation and know what I stand for."
His retirement will be effective Sept. 29, according to Rochester City Council President Loretta Scott. Scott told ABC News as of now there is no blueprint for how the city moves forward following the retirements of the command staff.

In my mind, when thinking about the anarchy these protesters seem to want in the guise of "ending police brutality," I always picture the first Mad Max movie. The remnants of the police are fighting a losing battle against encroaching chaos and street gangs.
Then today I realized this is literally happening right now.... the police in these cities are still well funded, and still standing, but they may or not be on their back foot at this point.
You can't tell these protesters "You will neither enjoy nor likely survive a world without law enforcement" without being called a police bootlicker.

The police are protecting these protestors. The police are the only thing keeping a bunch of good old boys from running a fleet of F-150s through them then shooting the survivors with AR-15s. The police may not be on the side of the protestors, but the mayors and prosecutors ARE.
