USPS changes delayed medication deliveries
The report contradicts public claims by Louis DeJoy that the recent moves he imposed “should not have impacted anybody.″

Prescription drug orders filled by mail increased by one-fifth during the coronavirus pandemic, the report found, and deliveries for medications that previously took two days or three days now take closer to three days or four days.

Some delays were much longer. One mail-order pharmacy, not identified in the report, said there was “a marked increase in July in the number of patients experiencing shipment delays of seven days or more."

“Delays in USPS service are imposing new costs and burdens on health care providers, which could increase costs to the federal government, consumers and taxpayers,″ Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Bob Casey, D-Pa., said in a statement accompanying the report.

The report was based on information from five of the largest pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers in the country that provide mail order service: Cigna/Express Scripts, CVS Health, Walgreens Boots Alliance, UnitedHealth/Optum and Humana.

Today's mail arrived at 8:02pm. No mail service Saturday for some unknown reason.

And about 20 pieces of mail from the past 3 days are missing. Great work, USPS.

This must be an NC thing as I know our mail seems fine. Although to be fair, we don't really use the mail anymore and our packages are delivered by FexEx, UPS, or Amazon.

Mailman showed up at 8pm on Saturday, without our mail.
He came by again on Sunday, I assumed to finish up the previous day's route (since he wasn't doing the Amazon driving pattern). Still no mail.
Monday, 7pm: our mail from the weekend showed up.
Today, 7pm: Still no mail.

Packages are moving through USPS slower than shit out of a constipated donkey.

I had a package that was supposed to arrive 2 days before Thanksgiving... still waiting. Another one that was supposed to arrive yesterday, stuck.

No issues with Fedex or UPS or Amazon (yet, given it's Christmas).

GSO is is 70 miles away. Clayton is 30 miles away. Raleigh is 15 miles. It's like Zeno's paradox. My question is: If it left Raleigh at 8:52pm LAST NIGHT, where is it 19 hours later? Is it traveling by tricycle?

My cell phone trade-in is still "In Transit" on tracking. Starting to think it's gone.

How many days? One of my packages has been "In Transit" for 4 days so far. This one was just stuck.

Mailed the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Assumed a couple days delay built in, but December 3rd got a "delayed but in transit" status that hasn't changed.
