Update: Wife ended up buying a second one from them cause she wanted to get started playing. Not sure if the fact that we spent $66 our first month on their server had anything to do with it. . . But a server admin responded to our ICQ requests for help. He asked if we wanted the first deed returne...

Other than that, I have no complaints. It's free (except for the wife's desires). It has a decent population. Server rules are some that I can live with. They seem to try to cater to the population with games and stuff. Of course there would be some things that I'D change. . but, I'm not going to g...

Story goes: Wife wanted a custom house to play with. Only way to get a custom house is to donate cash to the server. So we did. $28 for the biggest custom available. Fine and dandy. Get the deed in the bank and she runs out and looks for a spot. Thing about placing houses and my wife is, she places...

Server reboots at like 2am or something and you lose connection.

O/C and Factions mostly takes place in town. And if you go in town while red, you'll have alot of people on you. They both open up options, but at the same time, it could cause more problems.

You can res any time. But if you have more than 5 counts, you have statloss. So, it doesn't prevent ressing, you just might get hit. And you can macro them off while a ghost as well. And it seems the way you are suppose to do that is at the brit bank while you spam over and over how newbie'ish the ...

You should start macroing them off. The short term anyway. The short term are what determines your statloss. You don't have to macro off the long terms to stay blue if you don't want to. But you should definately get rid of the short terms so you don't take stat loss. 2 hours each.

You say so many character types, and yet, I found it to be repetative. Ok, I can spam nades as the demo till I get spammed then repeat. Go in ripping with the Heavy guy till I die, hit space, repeat. Go in quick and jumpy as the scout, hit space, repeat. Etc. The sniper, where you had to pick a goo...

First impressions are hard to get over. . . My first impressions of Steam: 1. Had to load it to play CS. 2. It forced me up upgrade to the latest version of CS. 3. It launched every time I started my PC. 4. It was very 'in my face' about stuff. It killed CS for me because at that time, there was no...

The difference between steam and EVE/UO/Etc is that the MMO's, my account is on THEIR hardware, not mine. So of COURSE I want it protected. They aren't making sure I've bought a copy of the game, they are making sure I am who I say I am so I don't damage someone's account. I don't want to have a pr...

I didn't see Portal as an FPS. I saw it as more of an FPP (First Person Puzzle). I didn't see any bad guys other than the stationary turrets. Could be wrong though. But in any case, I still wouldn't call it a shooter in the traditional sense.

What the hell is a shout cast server?

Is this something where you spend like $79 to 'say' your stupid thoughts instead of typing them?

I thought it was to consolidate the links so we would have one big thread with cool/funny movies in it.

Otherwise, there's no solution. Most of the stuff people link to is linked to in order to inspire conversation.

Hell, I bet you start doing that everyday. . . not just the ONE day the others can manage. You are in it for the long term protesting. Shows how important the issue really is to you.
