Tried to use my wife's laptop (Vista) to burn a CD of photos last night. This happened twice: Speaking of which, please excuse me for a few minutes, Windows Explorer has now been 100% hung for 5 minutes, despite my asking Vista to restart it, and despite me pushing Ctrl-Alt-Del several times over t...

Wireless controllers is a definite want to have, since we're gong to have little kids running around. What is the online like on these games or XBox in general? Does it require buying something extra? Do most games have it? Is it like servers with up to 10 players or 20 or whatnot? Or some large ce...

Anyone have one of these? What games are good for it? I was thinking of getting one now that they support DIVX/XVID as a media streamer, since it can also stream HDTV. Was thinking some games might be nice as well. Is there any point in the Elite version and it's 120GB HD? Or is the one with the 20...

Mac's have some feature that does a suspend to disk type of thing. Apparently when it first came out, lots of "notebooks" got bad hard drives cuz of movement while it was doing the suspend feature.

And the latest batch has all sorts of hard drive issues.

So some woman supposedly made a million by buying/selling land there. Basically, by being first, then selling to the suckers who came later. What kills me is that respectable businesses (IBM, Coke, etc) are pouring money in there because they are afraid of being left out or left behind. But there's...

You have to do both. It's after 90 days that they send you the software. They want you to keep participating after that date, I would assume. The surveys are every 2 weeks, iirc. I used two different names/email addresses. Link that has people discussing the details. update...."Recieve your ch...

We went with Office 2007, cuz we're a new company, and had nothing to upgrade. I do generally prefer 2007, even though Word/Excel are annoying. I used group policy to make all files be saved as 2003 versions for compatibility. We buy Windows Vista licenses, because you get free downgrade rights. So...
