Not that we needed it, but here's more proof that Hollywood doesn't give a fuck about their audience or about any existing licenses: The DOOM movie will have nothing to do with hell or demons. Its going to be about virus infected zombies. Un-fucking-believeable. Its obvious that the people running ...

I liked this movie as well.

This is an example of a film that's completely unrealistic, yet still fun and entertaining. It never takes itself too seriously.

Very well done.

Zach Braff of Scrubs (the best network sitcom on TV the last 4 years and running) fame writes, directs, and stars in this story about a young man who is escaping his past and finally starting his life. While there are plenty of laughs to be found here, this film isn't a comedy and brains are defini...

Hollywood has no respect for established properties. They think everything needs to be improved upon. Although, I'm not sure how anyone can fuck up Far Cry's storyline: Mad scientist on island base creates monsters. Ex-bad ass lands on island after boating accident. I'm excited to see how Boll does...

About half way through, I thought that it might only be entertaining, if you were stoned while watching it (to steal someone elses review).

Tonight, at my weekly poker game, this film was described to me as a movie made for those high on something.

Did you see Family Guy Sunday night? She came to dinner, then went nuts and trashed the place.

Casting News.

I've heard the film will pick up where 2 ended. I like that idea. Everyone knows who Superman is, so why waste time redoing the story.

In related news, the Iron Man movie will introduce a whole new origin. Fucking Hollywood.

If you mean The Sentinel by Arthur C. Clarke, that's already been made into a movie. Interesting. I never made that connection as I read that story back in junior high or something like that and never really paid attention to who wrote it. But yeah, I think that's it. The film doesn't do the story ...

Aren't yall like the same person? What does that even mean? Although, I'll admit to having some confusion about you and Thib when you first joined. As for the film, no, it wouldn't be better if I had never seen the Stiller act before and I think you may have a crush on Walken. In fact, he may want ...

On a related note, the original Westwood team is back with a phenominal new RTS that's due out soon. I'll dig up a name later. They're the people behind the C&C series when it was still awesome. Of course, Red Alert 3 is coming out. Oh, and rumors are swirling about some game called Total Annih...

Wow, Cake had a lot of caffeine this morning. Seriously though, read my review again. I didn't dislike the people in the film, I disliked the writing. It was boring and unoriginal. Ben, Jack, and Walken are good, but their characters aren't. Walken's in particularly is very poor. He does fine, but ...

Leisher, what are the stories, out of curiosity? Keep in mind that while some of these have been made into films, I still think their "Peter Jackson treatment" hasn't been fulfilled yet. Also, if you haven't read these stories, do yourself a favor and go read them. They're excellent. The ...

Ben Stiller plays an uptight normal guy with bad luck! Jack Black plays a funny and lazy wildman who falls backwards into money! Yeah, they really stretched on this film. I've got to say I envy the people who churn out crap like this and still keep their jobs. Not just keep them, but get paid well ...

I have a hunch that the fewer details I give about this film, the better your viewing experience may be. Thus, I would advise you to avoid looking it up on the web, avoid reading any other review, and even avoid reading the box cover. I was lucky and had never heard of the film, but rented it becau...
