Good movie, entertaining. Some scenes were "hey, wouldnt it be good to have a scene like this in a movie," the ending was OK, a little too generic on the "life-lessons" or whatnot.

But, fun, quirky.

King has a lot of stories/books with writers as main characters. A lot of writers do. And, of course, some of these were written back when King was a druggie/alkie so it was as if he had a built-in alter ego.

Ray Bradbury's A Sound of Thunder, is what I think you are referring to.

Also referenced in one of the best Simpson Halloween episodes evar, when Homer transports back to the age of dinosaurs with the time-travelling toaster.

Maybe it's just because I live a mile past BFE, but I enjoyed the movie mostly becuase I miss White Castle. Actually went to Wal-Mart the night after we rented and bought frozen Castles. It helped, but nothing beats them fresh off the grill. Plus I watched it with the wife, so seeing her reaction d...

Well, as for mobo/ram/cpu; the machine I'm running off of right now cost me $180 for case/mobo/cpu, 6 months ago. RAM, I'd recommend 512MB, which seems to cost around $60-80. In fact, if you want a silent/quiet PC, it will be easier with a slightly older CPU, as it will require less wattage, which ...

I spilled on a coke on a laptop once. It screwd it up at the time, but the next day, once the coke dried, it was fine.

Is it me, or do most laptops out there just suck? I'm required to get one for the MBA program, so I started looking around. The Dells just look cheap, the HPs look even cheaper. Sony's are a fortune for one you'd actually want. I won't consider a Mac.... I guess I haven't looked at Alienware yet, b...
