Day After Tomorrow just tainted me.
I agree . The special effects were cool but it was one the worst movies ever made. The science was almost pure crap and the story made almost no sense.

You can't honestly believe that? (or do you have faith like a conservative?) Your saying that Hollywood alters the science (or doesn't focus on it) and content of a movie based on who is the President. I mean that is pretty extreme paranoia. To further debunk your theory plenty of movies that had b...

I recently watched Farenheit 9/11. I watched it to see what it was about. A lot of people have commented on it but when I asked if they saw it they hadn't. It is a documentary at least in the broadest sense. Moore relies on documents and evidence but the conclusions he draws seem strange or extreme...

It all has to deal with the idea that somehow "public use" and "public good" are the same thing.

More Info Rick Berman really did fuck up Star Trek. For those that watched Enterprise if was evident how bad they fucked up that show with the "Temporal Cold War" premise and the whole Xindi escapade. Enterprise was a good idea and might have been successful provided they had done two thi...

More Cowbell!!

P.S. Has Jimmy Fallon ever gotten through a skit without falling out of character by laughing?

I remember that skit now.

It looked like Will Farrell almost lost it too.

Needs more cowbell, IMO.
That never gets old.
What is that line from?

Also that song was in another movie. I believe it was Private School with Matthew Modine and Phoebe Cates.

I'm not sure about the show, yet... Now, I consider myself open minded when it comes to peoples' private lives, but I find Paxton's marriage to 3 women (2 of which, so far, are very needy) very, very sick. All I can think is that he married one of them.... then he felt like he needed another wife n...

This movie stars Val Kilmer as a meth addict who motivated to become snitch because of the murder of his wife. The movie gave some interesting information about the origin of meth and the culture that surrounds it. It was slow at times but had some interesting characters in it. (Vincent D'noforio e...

I liked the flick too though I knew I would see a bunch of people start comparing the Grand Chacelor to Bush. But can't really blame the movie for those morons, especially if it stayed pretty true to the comic, though I have never read it. Was it just me or did anyone else get the sence that Portma...

This is an interesting new show on HBO. Now I must admit a bias for HBO shows. There has been Sopranos and most recently shows like Rome and Entourage which I have thoroughly enjoyed. Big Love stars Bil Paxson as a man with three wives who live in three separate house all right next to each other. ...

The graphic novel came out in 1984 so unless Alan Moore can see the future any simliarity to Bush is pure crap and people are seeing what they want to see.

'I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails in the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. Honestly, it still sucks. It comes off as a B level movie no matter what you know going into it. The writing, acting, directing, sets, etc. all suck. I was talking with someone about how badly people who are unfamiliar with comic book characters and there stories can mess it up. Especially when they try too hard to mainstream the script or add there own shit. They take that creative license crap way to far. Edited By DictionaryDave on 1142112027

I have the original Alien: Earthwar comics as well as AvP comics. They were great.
Alien3 I heard one of the reasons for the changes was that Sigourney Weaver didn't want to do anymore Alien pics.
