I think that was mostly because of how clunky a guy in a full latex suit looks trying to fight.

Just my guess.

Which reminds me... I knew I was forgetting to do something, today. I meant to catch a Batman matinee.
That is acceptable.

It's True Lies combined with War of the Roses.

Exactly.
Wait... you went and saw this when you could have seen Batman Begins?

Its too bad they couldn't have saved Space: Above and Beyond.
I agree. We were talking about continuiety and such before...

S:A&B was one of the best thought out sci-fi shows I ever watched.

I read or heard some time back that the Articles of Impeachment that were being drawn up against Richard Nixon only charged him with lying to the public. I'm still blown away with the way he's portrayed (got a gut full of it after "Deepthroat" came out to make some money for his whinney g...

It was. He instigated it in order to get power. Doesn't mean the desire of the Trade Federation to leave the Republic wasn't real, or that their desires would simply disappear after the emperor got his power. I think we can all agree that Lucas' scripts and dialog blow, but his biggest problem with...

The only Batman movie ever made, I decree. You finally get to see into the mind of Bruce Wayne and understand a little bit about why he does what he does. It goes into his psyche far beyond a quick flashback of his parents being murdered. Plus, when he goes after the street level thugs, you see it ...

That was my point. Plus, it would take a number of garrisons and blockades on those Trade Federalist planets to keep them in line. Look at what happens after every civil war.

We saw what happened behind the scenes, and only a handfull of peeps know what really happened... to the typical galactic citizen, the emperor just cleaned up all the corrupt malcontents with the victorious clone army. Ah, but he had just been victorious in a galactic civil war. The emperor was alr...

The most popular type are the generic way of showing individuality... just like everybody else. These perminant tattoos are often done on a whim. That kind of person isn't going to assimilate into the standard work environment. I have two of those, but consciously placed it so it wouldn't show even...

Mainly because I don't think he's overrated. However, its also because he has a good understanding of samurai films and that's what SW is all about. As long as he avoiding cartoony fight scenes and stuck with ones like The Bride versus Daryl Hannah he'd do just fine. He obviously gets more out of h...

Any of the deaths in Armagedon.
Bruce's was pretty good.
I was just thinking of that. Though not technically his "death", the scene where he threw AJ back into the elevator always gives me a lump.

Anakin wasn't the guy in the prophecy. Yoda implied that in Ep III. If I recall, Yoda didn't imply that Anakin wasn't the guy in the prophecy, but a broader "we may have misinterpretted the prophecy", which slid right into the "our idea of balance and the prophecy's idea of balance m...

Hayden Christianson is the worst actor ever. No. Mark Hamill was worse. I've seen Hayden act in other films. Given dialog, he can not suck. Mark Hamill has sucked in everything he's ever been in. The only acting he does well is voice acting for cartoons and games. He does that very, VERY well. Have...
