When I used to run w\ "delinquents," we all knew the goddamned risks & we continued to do so anyhow. The penalty for petty theft & drug dealing could've been unquestioned death & we'd still've done it. Oh, I doubt it. Especially if 100% of people got caught and convicted. On t...

Send him a file some how in chat: However, even such utilities are vulnerable to giving away the IP Address of the target system on issuing the Netstat –n command. All one has to do is (Please note that I am using MSN Messenger as an example) : Get the victim to come online. Then use the inbuilt Fi...

I like the XBox idea, but does he know his email address? Or did you mean an MSN Messenger IM? (Or his his Hotmail account stored with password/etc?)

Latop has:

Right, exactly.

We just have different views on how the states would react without a powerful federal government.

Re-read it, and it's pretty much the same as yours. Nuh uh. You said it wouldn't work. I answered with reasons why I thought it would in answer to the rest of your post (which I did read, as is obvious by my responding to your points). Did you read the rest of mine? No, I was referring to the statm...

I am suprised you didn't say guilty until proven innocent. Also historically speaking overly harsh punishment doesn't work. Hell look at England in the middle ages you could die for stealing didn't stop it. I do get a laugh when people bring up caning since Singapore got it from the British. Why, j...

Well, the federal government certainly has acted within the realm of the constitution I strongly disagree with this statement. The thing is, only the federal government is in charge of telling the federal government if it's following the rules or not. That's no good, IMO. If the states were doing m...

(How was this not a topic? Or did I miss it?)

Personal belief: Punishment should NOT fit the crime. Punishment should be overly harsh and severe, possibly even cruel or unusual.

You steal $20, you get $100 worth of punishment, etc.
