Bad Economic Predictions

The country’s House of Representatives voted Thursday to advance legislation introducing a 36% capital gains tax on savings and most liquid investments, including cryptocurrencies.
Man, that's awful. It's not housing, fortunately, but fuck that

The car you drive

Absolutely. The wear and tear on the engine/starter is NOT worth the savings. When you compare the minuscule amounts of gas you save to the cost of earlier failure/replacement of parts, the environmental cost of making more of those parts now, transporting them, disposing of them, etc. . . aren't w...

The car you drive

I'd argue it also used more fuel as you use more to start an engine than it does when it's idling waiting for a light to change. It doesn't, this is easily proved, lots of videos, etc. Uses surprisingly little fuel to start. I don't like the start/stop either. Especially when it's 100 degrees outsi...

I thought that was a Trump line? Maybe she was sarcastically quoting him? Maybe even taking a shot at our stock trading Congresspeople? I don't know. We'd need context. https://www.instagram.com/reels/DUts8dtAfsf/ The context is just as bad as you would think, given it's a hearing about the Epstein...

Not sure I believe in neutrality anymore.

But yes, skepticism should be high. Always.

Representation is weird. Like, if you want to appeal to most of the NFL fans: pop/rock/country/rap. But is there an argument that if a) 10% of your fans are Hispanic, or b) 50% of your new fan growth is Hispanic; You should cater to them X% of the time?

I dunno.
