A top down shooter set on one of Jupiter's moons in Earth's not too distant future.

New Atlantis, the first Earth colony here, is prospering, and the terraforming is coming along nicely, when out of nowhere, aliens attack.

This is a very, very basic game that would be a perfect fit back in the 80s or 90s, aside from the graphics, of course.

Gameplay is pretty standard: WASD moves your guy and the mouse aims. Again, the camera is looking down on the action, and your character is always in the center of the screen.

The graphics are decent, but nothing spectacular. Ditto for the sound.

The story is pretty pointless, and despite being driven by messages you find on computers and PDAs throughout the game, is really shallow.

This is a nice diversion if you can grab it off Steam when it hits for $2-$3 dollars. $5 if they include Shadowgrounds: Survivor.

Nothing special. Just a nostalgic piece of gaming that could have come out a decade ago. Worth running through it once if you pay little to no money for it.

4 out of 10.
