From here.
I'm very curious about this movie.
It was previewed before Clerks II and was met with laughter, groans, and applause. It's like they are purposely making a "Plan 9 from Outer Space".
Now they've announced that they won't be letting critics review it.
Is it fair to say everyone is looking forward to seeing this movie because they know it's going to suck?

This movie will suck.
The only question is if it's so bad, that's it's funny.
I will not be planning to see it in theatres.

I may see this in the theatre. I heard rumours that certain scenes'd to be reshot cos there wasn't enough cursing. I'm finding it difficult to resist seeing Sam reshoot scenes cos the decision was made that he wasn't saying "fuck" enough times.

I heard that after Samuel Jackson signed up they tried to change the name of the film to "Flight <whatever>" to give the film some legitimacy. But Samel Jackson told them that the reason he signed on was because of the awesome name. You know exactly what kind of movie you're going to get when you go to see Snakes on a Plane. So the studio let Sam have his way and kept his name.
I'm tempted to watch it in theatres because of that... but I probably won't.

There's just too much hype. No movie can live up to it.

Heh. It's rather poetic that New Line started out as a shithole distribution company for crappy college films. And now, they're producing a $35 million film expressly cos it's crappy.

I predict that if Jackson actually says the line "Snakes on a mutherfuckin' plane!" then the movie will rock. If he doesn't, then it will be lame.

No, he has to say "motherfuckin' snakes on a motherfuckin' plane, motherfucker!"

I thought the poster was Sam screaming into a walkie talkie, "WE GOT SNAKES ON A MOTHERFUCKIN' PLANE!"

I've decided this one deserves an opening day attendance. Will report results Friday.

motherfucker!"
He does. That's pretty much a direct quote of the clip they played on the Daily Show for his visit. And is why I'm going on Friday.

I got this idea a minute ago without any outside help, but I immediately figured it was an obvious joke and would be all over the place today.
But then I posted it anyway.

How is it he said my first name in his little presentation?
I mean, I KNOW how, but... do we want media files reading our PC data when they play? Or something.
Or does he address everyone as Steve

Everyone is Steve, apparently.
