The simple fact is that many Americans disagree on a philisophical level with the policy of "preemtive attacks".

Many people consider that policy highly immoral.
& many people aren't historians or tacticians.

I call those people "dead". History isn't written by the faint of heart, because they aren't around to write it.

Any society that so gives up the desire to survive that they aren't willing to wage war when it is necessary is doomed. Eventually the wolves of the world will eat it right up.

Preemptive.

At any rate, this wasn't even preemptive.

True. We resumed the war of '91 due to Saddam's failure to abide by the cease-fire.

I agree about George Sr.'s mistake. He should have taken Saddam out back in 1991.

As for Clinton, he tried and failed multiple times to kill Osama.

At least he tried.
Actually, Clinton lobbed a little over a billion dollars worth of cruise missles at Iraq around the time the Jizz-gate was going on. Why? Because Saddam was not complying with UN resolutions to disarm.

Obviously the "dolt" George W. Bush was somehow able to lie in such a clever way that he actually fooled Clinton 3 years earlier than he actually took office.

If Bush, hell... if anyone... was capable of doing what all these useful idiots on the left think he is capable and intelligent enough to do (despite the fact that they continuosly refer to him as an idiot) what they accuse him of doing, then we need to amend the Constitution to keep him in office.

Hell, he "tricked" 200 some-odd Democrats in Washington. Pulled the wool right over their eyes. Don't impeach him... Jesus... keep him President until someone proves they're smarter than he is.

Clinton, to my knowledge, never tried to take out Osama until long after he had the oppertunity to get him. It was in the last year of so of his administration. Long after the first attack on the World Trade Center.
