Money doesn't solve all problems.

Shame that he died in this manner.

I just hope it doesn't come out he was naked and spanking it like too many others that've gone out that way.

Mrs. Doubtfire 2 did him in. Couldn't bare the shame. Blame Hollywood.

Williams always seemed like a guy with some pretty serious emotional issues. Even when being interviewed he seemed to be playing the character of Robin Williams. And when he acted he always came across as this guy that was playing Robin Williams playing some other character. He was just never a good actor to me.

Living like one of us schlubs for a week would have solved his problems.

Little sympathy. A little sympathy because a mental illness... when your brain turns against you it is all but impossible to fight it... but still.

I met him 20 years ago in Morocco. Shook his hand. 20 years later: BAM. Suicide.

Beware.

I don't get your stance here.

too confusing, didn't read version:

1. In general, no sympathy for sad rich people.

2. Mental illnesses are a tough nut to crack, though. Can't fight when your brain says don't fight.

Something about having the whole world and throwing it away.

You really think it's all about money?

Robin had been a depressed alcoholic for a couple decades at least. Just left a rehab clinic in the north a couple weeks ago. I'm a bit surprised this didn't happen sooner. I can't say the dude had no intention of getting better, but he either couldn't or wouldn't.

Anyone who says otherwise has probably never eaten government cheese.

Heh... now they're saying that he was having serious money troubles.

Some it really may be all about the money.

Not about the cash.
