It boggles my mind how these news people can sit there and listen to or report with a straight face anything that comes out of a politician's mouth. From either party.

I'm serious; why do they report politicians' press releases as straight news? "The White House said today..." or "Congressional Republicans said..." As if that really means anything.

As much as I hate Jon Stewart, he really is one of the few people who put this BS in perspective.
