Windows 10
I couldn't get RSS to work properly in Tribler, but I already have an RSS feeder I use so I set that up to have torrents pop up. One click in there and Tribler picks it up for download. uTorrent's automation was better, but Tribler has been much more stable.
I don't leave it running all the time. I'm a dirty dirty leecher.
What is your specific use?

I launch uTorrent to grab a file, and once it's done DLing, I shut uTorrent down and then move the file to a new directory.

TV
--ShowName
----Season#
BAM
And the RSS feed automatically downloads my TV shows, so I don't touch it.
It's not me, it's someone else.
At this point I don't install any update unless I can find out from someone via google that it is not going to fuck me over. And I haven't taken the time this month, so I have nothing from the 8/11 updates or later.
Here's the updates from before that that I decided not to install for one reason or another. If you have any of those last three installed that might be the problem. If not then it's something newer I haven't seen yet.
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB971033)
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2952664)
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3035583)
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3068708)
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3075851)
EDIT: Probably not the problem with Win10 annoyances, but I'm also skipping KB307249 and KB3080149 (both from 8/11). They seem fishy.

yes, I have now started getting these popups every time I log on. I'm a little tentative to upgrade because my system is running good and I don't like to mess with a good thing. But eventually I'm guessing i'll have to switch over.GORDON wrote:Eventually they start popping up messages.TheCatt wrote:Just ignore the icon? How long is this upgrade free for?
WORLD CHAMPIONS!!
This is exactly my reasoning. I don't typically upgrade "just because." There's a reason Microsoft is giving this shit away for free, and it isn't because they just really like us. My best guess is they are cheating to get market share so it doesn't smell like Win8, and they are somehow selling data.Stranger wrote:I'm a little tentative to upgrade because my system is running good and I don't like to mess with a good thing.
But Win7 is working for me, and I don't need this, and I want it to not nag me.
