There are regional ones you've never heard of that have lots of customers. Leisher and I lived 20 miles away from each other at one point and I had Tim Warner and he had "Buckeye Cable," and he had better service and speeds than me for a better price. I would bet a dollar they have over a million customers... can't seem to find those numbers on the interweb.

I know Time Warner had about 11M before the merge. Comcast had more.

"AT&T said Sunday that it had agreed to acquire America's biggest satellite television provider, DirecTV, in a deal worth almost $50 billion."

It's not like their service can get worse...and now...or better.

My local ISP has me on a 400Mbps down with unlimited date for $149.99 (paid for by my work place).

They now offer 1GB down with unlimited data for $299.99.

What are you folks paying?

$65 for something like 300/50. And I'm fine with that speed.

I don't think there's a cap, or I just haven't hit it.

$70/month; 1Gb up / 1Gb down - Google Fiber.

We also have TWC/Spectrum as a choice, and I think AT&T GigaPower.

Shit. I hate living where there are no options.

Who are your providers?

Comcast.

$45/month 150 down, not sure up.

The down might be more now too, not sure. We signed up at 100. They raised it to 150, same price. Not sure if it raised again.

Just did a speed test and it said 179. So, probably still at 150. We've always run higher than what they advertised.

1TB data limit. However, you can go over it at least once, but 3 times also comes to mind, per year without penalty. We've never hit the limit. I think we hover around 750MB per month.
