Selling an old phone and Amazon seems to have the best price vs least amount of work but does anyone have any other sites they recommend?
I would prefer cash but the Amazon gift card is almost the same thing since I buy so much from them.

We do bulk stuff to a local recycling firm, so I can't help you on doing something via the web.

I generally do eBay cuz it's more $ than other places. Although, there is the effort of posting/shipping.

Craigslist. Just be careful of when/where you meet so you don't get killed.
Ebay/Paypal keep so much of your money that I don't use them any more.

I've used Craigslist in the past, and what a pain. People wanting to meet somewhere, etc. Fuck that. Or the "I know you listed this for $200, but would you take $100" blah blah blah.
On eBay, I learned to never answer a question someone sends to you, cuz it means they'll be difficult, in some way. On Craiglist, everyone is difficult. I just want to post my item, get paid, send it out.

We ignore the "will you take..." emails. We make people meet us about a mile away from our house at a strip mall. I can meet someone there, or I can package it in a box, still make a special trip to the post office to pay for shipping. Then Ebay and Paypal take their cuts. I'd rather keep all the money myself with the same level of inconvenience, but a little more danger.

Worried about danger? Bring a gun.

I have no desire to go somewhere to meet someone with who knows what level of punctuality.
The Post office comes to my door.

I normally, do, but my carry license expired recently and haven't renewed. I guess I could still take it, but. . . I would be a criminal then.

Plus if it isn't concealed and just on your hip they will assume you are a cop and you will stop any shenanigans before they start.

Although you are allowed to open carry here, I don't have the . . . time (I guess) for it. Because you WILL be harassed by the police. Plus, I don't have the proper gear for it. All of my stuff is meant for concealment.
