Pretty invasive. And I'm sure permissible under the license agreement.

Thanks for the heads up to not buy any more symantec.

Invasive, ya. But still. If I knew of a program that helped people steal my stuff, I'd probably fuck with it too.

Well, the keygens it removed were for Adobe programs. The one I linked was what I found when googling.

The program I use is Symantec Endpoint Protection, which says it protects against "viruss, trojan horses, and spyware." (Directly from the program as it's running).

keygens are none of those.
