Ok, not "rich", but well enough that he quit his job.
To be honest, I think he might have jumped the gun, but I'm sure his cash buys him a lot of time to work on more apps.
Let's start the timer now though for the first lawsuit by a former employer claiming rights to an app and profits because it was developed on company time. You know it's going to happen.
