Blockbuster's new way is a device that will allow you to download movies to it so you can watch them on your TV.
Netflix's device does streaming video.
Here's my problem with both services, isn't that what "On Demand" (or whatever your cable/satellite provider calls it) currently offers? I can hit the "On Demand" button on my remote, purchase and watch a movie in seconds without any download.
Why wouldn't I do that instead of going to Blockbuster, paying $100 for a box, hooking it up at home, then downloading movies, etc.
