So either I have beer walking out the back door, or shady bar help. Not unusual in this business if they don'g think they can get caught. Need a very simple camera system. One for kitchen, one for Bar area and an exterior one for our deck. Any suggestions? Does there have to be a computer on site for these to work? Also would like it recorded. Thanks

If noone knows one off the top of their head, my last year in college was spent working as a Bartender, I can go over and ask them what system they installed to deter on site drinking (by employees)
We were averaging a bottle of Jaeger a night by employees between the two floors(the bosses didn't actively work on)....
They had four cameras, one for three floors and one for the outside... it all ran to a computer in their office. Recordings were kept for a week or two.
We got two really good fights on tape on the outside cameras, and one where a guy got one punched and knocked-the-fuck-out...

Dummy cameras might do the trick as well. Normal people will be detered by such a system.

She already bought a system, that I'll be installing in the near future, I assume. Hard to get a hold of her these days when she never answers any of the 3 phones she has. SO I'm trying to read her mind and predict the future... I think I will be installing it soon.

Thanks all and I was waiting for an email with your availability on it Gordo. Should be in today. Funny we had a really big profit weekend and all I had to do is spread the word that we knew what was going on and it was going to stop.
Yippee.

Get the system installed anyway...
Then watch for more discrepancies as someone will try to test it or work around it.

We're installing 2 cameras, but we'll tell the employees we installed 5.

If you ever sense they're trying to get info about where the other cameras are located, tell them the cameras watch:
-The parking lot
-The cooler
-The customer entrance
-The back door
-The cash register

We'll even refer to them as "Camera 4 & 5."
Or even better, a double trick-fuck... Camera 5 & 6.

Why do I get the feeling these cameras are going to be in the women's restroom?

That would be camera 7, unknown even to management.
Unfortunately, I'm not one of those guys who gets off on seeing women piss and shit, so no, not really. In fact, ewww. Some veils of mystery need to never be pulled back,a s far as I'm concerned.
