The cheapest possible copy of a legit version of Windows XP Professional, 32 bit.
Best pricewatch price is right about $136. That seems pretty high, to me. I couldn't seem to find a "for system builders" on newegg.

Full version, not upgrade.
Why go legit? No good reason. I guess I'm just getting legit now in case they somehow tighten up validation after they aren't selling XP any more.

I heard they'd extended its death till June, so you've got some time to wait for the price to dip a bit.

They won't bother. Just keep using a corp version.
