How do you password protect a shared folder?

I didn't know XP could do that.

I just use permissions so that certains accounts have access, others dont.

You could create an account on that machine that has permissions, and use that userid/pw to access it. That's like a pw.

Well of course. Why wouldn't Microsoft remove some of the functionality that Win98 had?
