I guess microsoft would be the best at removing spyware since they created most of the flaws that allows spyware onto a system in the first place.

I just got hit by some sort of adware.
Browser got hijacked, and wouldn't let me go to the microsoft spyware web page.
Tricked it and got there anyway, and installed microsoft spyware killer (or whatever).
Adaware said I was clean, microsoft's found a browser hijacker.
Cleaned it with microsoft's product.
Now IE doesn't open at all, but Firefox does. That's a hell of an intuitive anti-spyware program, heh.
I feel a reload coming in my near future.

Yeah, that's a pain. Downloading the administrative updates (which can be done with FireFox) is always a pain in the ass too. I have yet to fiind a way to download all the administrative updates in one big chunk.GORDON wrote:Yeah, but I found out that you can't run Windows Update on Firefox. I had an interesting catch-22 going.
