Not as good as the last time he was in town. He fucked up two or three songs and straight up stopped in the middle each time, then moved on to a new piece. Talked way, way, way, too much in between songs. I did, however, appreciate his 10-minute rant about how much bullshit it is that people still get busted and jailed for minor drug offenses and how fucking unreal it is that cash is actively spent on such things. Theme of the evening was set early. MC Chris starts talking before the show. Someone raises their hand.

MC Chris: Do you have ... a question, something to say?
Drunk dude: FUCK ALDERAAN!
MC Chris: What?
Drunk dude: FUCK ALDERAAN!
MC Chris: That's kind of harsh, man. Don't you think they've gone through enough?
Drunk dude: FUCK ALDERAAN!

EDIT: MC Chris also announced his return to ATHF (or whatever the fuck it is now) in 2015 and mentioned he's a huge BL and BL2 fan.

"I'm touring right now, so I ain't going to be able to play the new Borderlands game until fucking December."

Almost want to search Steam for MCPeePants or MCChris.

Sounds like before DTMan will. At least he has a good excuse.

Back in 20-March-2015. Bigger venue. Billed as the "Adult Swim" tour.

Ok, so it's not the bigger venue. It's the smaller place next door. Whatever.

Official max capacity for the joint is listed at 250 and it sold out. Kind of a short show at a bit over a dozen songs. Apparently his brother lives in the Twin Cities and he occasionally comes to visit. Picked up a vinyl and got it signed.

He's coming around again in November, so he'll be getting at least another $50 from me between tix and vinyl. Goal is getting 3-4 pieces of merch signed.

Thus far:

MC Chris Goes to Hell
Part Six, Part III
Knowing is Half the Hassle

November 8th at the same tiny-ass 250-person venue he was at last time. Unless something changes, penultimate show of the year.

A decent but brief set. Got all the albums signed. Dude really loves his fans and he's got a CF charity line going at the shows because his nephew has that shit. If he comes to town, check a show if you ever watched Sealab or ATHF.

I had on Amazon "Puscifer Radio" yesterday and heard an MC Chris song. I liked it. Previously I had only known him from his work on ATHF.
