No opener, two sets, twenty-nine songs, first half: New Order, second half: Joy Division. Drummer played about a dozen songs. Peter's bass playing was way better than his attempts at guitar. He seemed a bit off tempo on one song in particular. Didn't help the rhythm dude was playing the same riff perfectly during the verses. He also tried, not well, to take the more prominent vocal parts in the NO songs ... and fucked up at least once very noticeably. His voice is too goddamn low. His guitarist/backing vocalist drilled the higher parts. Pete did a pretty good Ian Curtis impression on the JD half.

Coming here in 3 weeks. Is he still playing all of Unknown Pleasures, or more variety?

One set is New Order's Substance from '87. Other set is joy division's Substance from '86. Picked up a decent tour poster at merch booth. $15.

Good show. The Joy Division half was better than the New Order half, some of Pete's singing was cringe-worthy on the front side. Turns out I knew all the JD songs, but only most of the NO songs.

Odd, coming back here as well.

But the exact same songs?

No idea. I assume he'll switch it up a little. Wonder who the opener will be.

The article I read said the exact same songs, extension of what he did this year. Which makes little sense

I guess ticket sales say otherwise.
