Obviously, this question won't apply to the rare female visitors to our forums, but for you gents:

One of these will never work again in your lifetime, but you get to choose which one...

Failure is not an option.

Ha!

I actually heard this question on Bill Burr's podcast, and he had a pretty good answer for it without not answering or cheating the question.

I'll share it after a few votes.

This is definitely a Kobayashi Maru scenario.

Can I give up 1 eye and 1 ball, and split the difference?

So Bill Burr essentially said, "As you get older, your penis becomes less important."

Look at the bright side, you'd get more work done...

As long as my tongue still works, I'll go for keeping the eyes.

I asked my wife in a hypothetical female situation... and she said she'd rather be blind.

I respect her immensely.

I was going to reply with "Well, it won't do much good without my penis..." but I really didn't want to explore that conversation. :)

I was also trying to imagine a world in which we're both blind, can't take care of the kids, etc... but can screw like rabbits.

I assume you can still use the penis for urination?

I use my eyes pretty much all of my conscious life.
I use my penis substantially less than that.

Besides, I like being able to drive, work, hike, fish, kayak, etc. I'm not going to give that up so I can have 30 seconds of sex a few times a week.

Yeah, I agree with you, Paul. My wife was like "Well, by this age, I've pretty much seen everything before."

I mean no disrespect by this but I might be in love with your wife.

But how can somebody see enough?
There is no refractory period where I don't want to see anymore (except after tubgirl and goatse).

I think that if one were to lose their schlong, his body/lifestyle/mentality would adapt and compensate in some way. You'd either evolve a new form of sexuality or the importance would diminish.

Yes going blind would do lead to adaption, but it'd be a lot more extreme and you just can't compensate for the impact it would have on your life.
