Does 92 octane gas have less ethanol in it than say 87 octane? I have yet to see a disclaimer at the pumps. It just say up to 10% ethanol added.

Thanks Malcolm. I kind of saw that before and still couldn't make head or tails of it. I had heard of ethanol being bad for boats. It breaks back down into sugar after time and gums up the works. But now that I have burned up 2 chainsaws I here it is bad for 2 cycle engines.
Suppose to add extra oil says the mechanics online. Just fricking great. That is about 300 down the drain. Oh an maybe all you guys with weed eaters might want to take note. Chain saws, weed eaters an the likes. Heard online to buy 92 octane(Less ethanol) and go a little heave on the oill mix. In case anyone is interested.

Your should use an electric chain saw like me.

I mean, sure, you can't take down anything over 6", but who would want to?
It's not me, it's someone else.

Sounds great. but I own 3 acres. 70% of which was ash trees. A little bug called the emerald ash borer has takin care of that. I would guess alot of them go over 50 feet. So unless they have commercial electric chainsaws I'm screwed again.
I'm clearing out the ash. And another 20% that is junk wood. I plan on starting to replant this fall and spring. At least what I have cleared by then.

Okay, then not letting them have a turn might annoy the neighbors a bit. :)

I have 2 neighbors. A 3/4 acre wooded lot owned by my middle sister. I share a driveway with my other neighbor, my oldest sister. Most of my woods are acrossed the creek in my backyard. The rest of the neighbors are a football field away.
My sister just might want a turn. She can surprise you sometimes.

Only a football field away? Given the firepower involved in this case neighbors means anyone within a couple of miles.

Neighbors a football field away ... and here I thought you were talking about a rural area. That's practically the suburbs. Where I grew up our nearest neighbors were just over four miles away and on another road. The nearest on our road were just under six miles away.

The idea of the gun still works. If I fire south my property boarder is an elevated train tracks. A twenty foot high dirt backstop. Perfect.
Oh to have neighbors that close. I did the best I could with what I have.
