USMC birthday always gets lumped in with veteran's day, which is bullshit because other branches are like "lol veterans."
November 10, 1775, first enlistment office was Tun Tavern, Philidelphia. "Born in a bar," as we used to say.
In various unit deployment books and such, I'm usually the only Marine who's smiling. Even the one from bootcamp.
