He says he saw concept art for HL3 or HL2:Ep3, and L4D3.

Neither is a shock since HL2 and L4D2 were huge sellers, and Valve will obviously follow up on them.

That being said, is HL2:Ep3 heading towards Duke Nukem level at this point? Although, I thought the latest word on that is it's being developed out of house. Meaning Valve was working on HL3.

I think when all is said and done, we're going to find out that Steam's success and DOTA2 both took resources away from HL. So unlike 3DRealms and Duke Nukem, they haven't been working on it this whole time.

If they were smart they would release Portal 3 at the same time, since there is so much crossover between the two. Why sell a $50 game when ALL people who would buy it would buy both for $100.

3 is coming when the steam machines finally get released. Half-Life always came with new engines/tech.
