In many countries, it's a holiday or on the weekend, etc, to make it more convenient.

I don’t want voting to be convenient. I want the bar to be as high as possible.

While we’re at it: end women’s suffrage. They’ve suffraged enough.

I've been pondering this question. While I do think voting should be accessible, I also think we shouldn't make it easier for the lazy or people who don't think it's important.

Too many people already vote based on their love of a letter. Too many people vote for handouts. Too many people vote without a fucking clue who or what they're supporting with their vote.

And who does it help? It could be argued that both parties would be weakened and/or strengthened with increased turnout.
