I really should have posted this in the MSM thread because if that headline isn't clickbait, I don't know what is.

Imagine you're a moon landing conspiracy nut and you see this article claiming we need to beat China to the moon's surface.

Another article about the same thing, but calling it a space race.

I feel like this says a lot about the state of those two countries right now.

Image of asteroids that you've never seen before.

That's pretty cool. I wonder what the odds are of something like that happening?

Earth's orbit is becoming a shit show.

It'll be interesting to see what solutions they create.

I predict semi-autonomous satellite eating satellites.

Most likely from SpaceX.

Speaking of general space, I was daydreaming about all those secret military satellites up there. Wondering what they were capable of.

Wondering if the military wondered.

Then I connected some dots.... You know that weird air force space plane that looks like a stubby shuttle, and they were all like "hey awesome this thing just spent 2.5 years in orbit doing sooper secret military stuff."

I bet a dollar it spent that time conserving fuel, changing orbits, and getting within inches of foreign military satellites taking pictures of every millimeter, from every angle.

How would they know?

I don't know. Is that the one that looks like a stubby space shuttle?

We're landing on the moon today for the first time in 50 years.

This doesn't even warrant its own link on CNN's front page. WTF are we doing as a society? Our priorities are all fucked.
