So BD has died like twice now?

I had an instant, interesting answer when I was in freefall and was asked, "What do you do?" Interesting enough to roll some dice and see if it worked. It did! He lived to fight another day.

But he did tell the guy to go fuck himself, instead of begging for his life. Werf.

Yeah, Stranger got his head cut off but came back.

BD probably should have gone splat but I liked the idea and the dice were good to him (after being very bad to him a few scenes earlier). Instead he just has mostly broken ankles and no weapons and is all the way back in Barovia village.

It was Baba Lysaga, the hag with the chicken hut, you told to go fuck herself.

She's like #1 on the list.

So i'm trying to piece together what i missed.

So the party is split up i take it. i'm interested to hear how all of this happened, but i'm sure all the events of the night lead to this.

Yeah. BD got captured and chucked off the top of the castle. Quick thinking and lucky dice rolls saved him from death.

Recap.

The well thought out and discussed over two week plan went to shit before we even reached the room where the skull was located. Let me try to long story, short it for you:
-There was a failure to communicate and Koban didn't get a chance to bump uglies with Strahd's wives. More importantly, our plan was waiting for day time when vampires would be sleeping, but once day time hit we were fucked. (We didn't know that.)
-We were told to leave, but lied and said we were going to the dining room to eat.
-BeeDee stayed behind to flirt with the gay vampire. I think a handjob was involved, possibly mutual.
-Koban, Mordigan, and Alex all got rocketed upwards in some elevator type trap. Sleeping gas was involved and only Alex fell to it.
-Koban slapped Alex and shook him to no avail. Someone mentioned maybe a kiss would wake him, so it was decided that Mordigan would do so. Then he added tongue. (That IS part of canon.) Neither worked, but Alex does have a bruise on his forehead where Mordigan's eye gem fell out and hit him.
-Koban and Mordigan killed three giant spiders up close without even taking a bit of damage (remember when they were tough?).
-Alex wakes up and we found a secret room with some coin.
-Instead of going down a hall full of spiders, we decide to head through another secret door and through a blazing fireplace. Koban goes first to scout it out, but doesn't come back. Mordigan and Alex follow. It was a sitting room where Strahd was waiting, patiently watching the flames. Alex explains it was all a big misunderstanding, Strahd buys it, and escorts us out politely. We're now going to head to Valaki to warn them and prepare for the invasion hitting that evening.

Meanwhile...
Szoldar and Zelda were with us, but didn't get grabbed by the elevator. They link up with one of Strahd's cucks or something and he helps them escape with the dragon skull via a teleporter, but they have no idea where they are right now. They're outside a structure and there's snow on the ground.

Meanwhile, meanwhile...
BeeDee's gay love fest goes south when the sound from the elevator trap reaches him and his lover. The lover goes to investigate and Gordon attacks him from behind. Gordon forced the guy out a window. I don't think that guy died though. He went bat mode or something. Some old hag burst in at that point and asked Gordon what was happening. He lied, but she attacked anyway and rendered him unconscious. They took all his shit, including his awesome magic weapon and threw him out a window. He fell 200ft, but started casting heal self right before the bottom. A semi-decent roll allowed the DM to save him. Mureal happened upon Gordon and flew him to Barovia.

What we all know:
-Gordon did manage to have a wareraven sent to Valaki to warn them about Strahd's invasion. However, while Zelda and Szolder know that, via the magic mirror walkie talkies, they don't know where they are, and Gordon knows they're lost.
-Koban, Mordigan, and Alex have no idea what is going on with anyone else nor do they know if they were successful or dead. They just know they need to get to Valaki and get ready to fight.

Am I missing anything?

Reminder for tonight...gordon...

I accepted a dinner invite, but stressed to her that I needed to be home for D&D by 9.

Also I will be asking for a little reminder about who we like and dislike in the town I'm in. That's me asking, not BD. BD of course knows where he's been. But Steve zones out sometimes when things aren't pressing.

I think we don't like the store owner there. He works directly for Strahd and insulted us all. We like the guy whose sister we're protecting in Valaki.

There's no way you get to use within a few days unless you get another ride from a wereraven.

If I don't find some magical healing there , I'm out of commission for at least a day, anyway. 5 hit points, and broken legs. Would have to have a full.days rest so my legs aren't broken any more.
